Supported Employment Program
At the Fort St John Association for Community Living we believe everyone belongs and we believe everyone is entitled to "real work for real pay." We do not label people by their disabilities we assist in helping them strengthen their abilities. Our Careers program works with adults whom have developmental disabilities to be a valued part of their community.

We believe that everyone has something to contribute.
We offer customized employment, it is a flexible process designed to personalize the employment between a job candidate and an employer in a way that meets the needs of both. It is based on an individualized determination of the strengths, needs, and interests of the pre-screened candidate, and is also designed to meet the specific needs of the employer. It may include employment developed through job carving, entrepreneurial initiatives, or other job development or restructuring strategies that result in job responsibilities being customized and individually negotiated to fit the needs of the candidate and the employers needs.
