WLACL was created to assist adults with diverse abilities integrate within the community, ensuring access to equal opportunities for work and independent living.
Our programs and initiatives are designed to give participants the tools and support structures they need to:
Make sensible life choices (diet, exercise, and healthy relationships)
Find living arrangements that fit their lifestyle (via residences and homeshare programs)
Earn a fair and decent wage (training programs, job shadowing, and job placement)
Contribute to and be a part of their local community
We also provide access to social events and activities to build community and a sense of belonging.
