Delta House

About this resource

Delta House accommodates four young adults with serious and persistent mental illness. We provide residents the opportunity to live in a stabilized home with support so they can successfully live independently.

We help residents build on their strengths and skills to encourage self-sufficiency. We support residents to maintain and develop family and community supports. Two years is the maximum stay at Delta House.

Admission Criteria
All residents will:

Be between the ages of 19 and 30 years of age
Have a diagnosis of severe and persistent mental illness with or without a co-occurring disorder
Have an open file at Delta Mental Health Services and Addictions
Have a source of income to meet rental requirements (e.g., Private or MEIA)
Be stabilized on medication and able to self administer medications
Be able to function without continuous 24 hour supervision
Have or agree to obtain a yearly bus pass if eligible
Agree to enter into a tenancy agreement with Fraserside Community Services
