Programs at So Social
Our Programs
-For kids, teens & adults.
-Weekly sessions run for the duration of the school year at the same time and day each week.
-Each group is carefully matched so that all kids share common goals, learn at the same pace, make lots of progress, and love coming to group.

Our groups are neurodiversity affirming- We believe that kids should work on what makes sense to them as soon as they are able to, and that they should love coming. For more info on this, please see our philosophies.

Neuro-Diversity Affirming Social Groups:
For students who want a positive social experience, and an opportunity to learn strategies to help them break down and make sense of our complex social world. We offer evidence-based therapy that is individualized and that kids like attending. Much of our sessions are based on the Social Thinking methodology and on the work of other leaders in the field.

Clubs:
For our community members who want to reinforce the skills they’re learning in group sessions. With clinicians on hand for guidance, cueing, and problem-solving, participants can build confidence and apply their skills in real-world scenarios while enjoying a supportive and social setting.

Individual Sessions:
Group settings aren’t always as much as kids need. For extra attention to specific social dilemmas or to offer additional support, we offer one-on-one sessions. Please note, these sessions are predominantly during school hours because our after-school slots are mostly booked for groups.

Partygoers:
For kids who have mostly finished with groups but who want to work on maintaining their skills and meeting like-minded awesome people- come to our seasonal parties!
*Only open to kids who have been in groups with us and/or who we know will be a good match for the other partygoers.

Parent Sessions:
Parents need support too! We offer practical strategies in a friendly, casual atmosphere with a mix of humor, heartfelt discussion, and common sense to shift challenges at home into moments of growth.
