Information, resources and groups for pregnant women and families with babies under one year of age in Cranbrook, Kimberley and surrounding areas.

3. Community Action Program for Children (CAPC)
Groups for families with children ages 0-6, in Cranbrook and Kimberley. The Community Action Program for Children (CAPC) program offers a variety of free, drop-in groups for families with children ages 0-6 in Cranbrook and Kimberley.
4. Early Years
Early Years Programs provide support to families with young children in Cranbrook and Kimberley through free programs, services, and information. We offer Play and Learn family programs as well as Family Navigation supports.
5. Family Resource Program
Families with preschoolers are invited to take part in these free groups and activities.
6. East Kootenay Infant Development Program
East Kootenay Infant Development Program (EKIDP) provides information, resources and support for families who have a child between birth and 3 year who has a diagnosed disability, is experiencing a developmental delay, or is at risk for developmental delay.
7. East Kootenay Supported Child Development
East Kootenay Supported Child Development Program promotes and facilitates inclusion in childcare programs for all children throughout the East Kootenay, in collaboration with families, childcare providers and community partners.
8. Just 4 Kids
We provide quality care that is safe and developmentally appropriate, in a nurturing environment, for children in grades K to 6.
9. Cranbrook Women's Resource Centre
We provide individual support, including crisis support, generalized emotional support, clothing and hygiene items.
10. Life Balance Health & Fitness
We are a women’s gym for all ages and fitness levels, and a social enterprise that supports CCS’s Cranbrook Women’s Resource Centre.
11. Better at Home
Better at Home helps seniors with non-medical, day-to-day tasks so that they can continue to live independently in their own homes and remain connected to their communities.
12. Seniors Community Connector
Free, confidential support to those age 55+ to navigate community resources and activities, find community and explore options regarding Advanced Care Planning, and more.
13. Cranbrook Food Recovery
We rescue perfectly good food destined for landfills, ensuring it reaches individuals and community groups in need.
14. Cranbrook Public Produce Garden
The Public Produce Garden is a community-managed, free, public space that aims to increase food security and local food education.
15. Farm Kitchen
Farm Kitchen is a shared-use kitchen that supports food-focused entrepreneurs by providing a rentable, commercial kitchen and co-working office space.
16. Kimberley Cranbrook Food Network
A network of community members and organizations alike striving for a food-secure future.

Free, confidential information, advice and assistance for those facing income, residential tenancy and legal challenges.
18. Family Law Advocate
Free, confidential information, advice and assistance for families facing legal issues in Cranbrook and Creston.

Strengthening parent-child relationships through classes, groups and individual sessions in the East Kootenays
21. Homeless Outreach & Prevention
We serve people of all ages in Cranbrook who are facing homelessness, are at-risk of homelessness or are in unstable housing situations (ex. couch-surfing).
22. Step Beyond Shelter
A year-round shelter in Cranbrook for those facing homelessness.
23. Supportive Housing @ Cozy Bear
Supportive homes for older adults and vulnerable seniors, with in-house resources and supports.
