Peer Support Fundamentals Training
Rural Peer Support Fundamentals Training is offered by Stigma-Free Mental Health Society and Sara Riel Inc to equip participants with the skills they need to facilitate peer support programs, reduce mental health stigma, and become a leader in their community. Participants will also have the opportunity to engage and collaborate with others who understand the rural way of life.

The training is open to anyone living within or connected to rural or agricultural communities and has direct or indirect experiences with mental health.

After participating in training, participants will be able to:
-Apply peer support skills in one-on-one and group settings;
-Help others by sharing your personal experiences;
-Facilitate your own peer support groups;
-Practice self-care and prioritize your mental wellness
