Northern Therapy Services was founded in 2017 to address the need for consistent and culturally specific rehabilitative services primarily to the communities of Northern BC. Today, Northern Therapy Services provides culturally relevant and consistent Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech & Language Pathology, Registered Psychology and Accessibility Consultant services to Indigenous and Non-Indigenous communities of British Columbia in person and via virtual telehealth. Their mission is to build community capacity and improve access to health care services in rural and remote communities, by providing culturally safe, reliable and collaborative services.
The multi-disciplinary team of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech & Language Pathologists, a Registered Psychologist, an Accessibility Consultant and Rehabilitative Assistants provide services to children, adults and elders throughout Northern British Columbia and Vancouver Island.
