The Psychiatric Medications Plan (Plan G) is available to B.C. residents of any age who demonstrate clinical and financial need. The plan covers certain psychiatric medications and drugs for the treatment of opioid addiction.

ADHD), Blind / Visual Impairment, Cerebral Palsy, Deaf / Hard of Hearing, Deaf-Blind, Down Syndrome , Dual Diagnosis, Epilepsy / Seizure Disorder, Fetal Alcohol Syndrome / Spectrum Disorders , Intellectual / Developmental Disability, Learning Disorder / Disability, Mental Health , Neuromuscular Disorders, Other / I don't know, Paraplegia / Quadriplegia, Physical Disability / Mobility Impairment, Schizophrenia , Speech Impairment / Social / Communication Disorders, Spina Bifida, Substance Use/Addiction

Eligibility
Your eligibility is confirmed by your physician or nurse practitioner (the prescriber), and the local Mental Health and Substance Use Centre (MHSUC), or the local Child and Youth Mental Health services centre
If you are eligible, your physician will submit an Application for PharmaCare Plan G form on your behalf. Coverage is provided for up to 1 year. If you require further coverage, your physician can submit a new application for you.
