Auditory Outreach

About this resource

The Auditory Outreach Program provides outreach services for students with cochlear implants (CIs) and loans of assistive listening devices to public school districts, and group 1 and 2 independent schools. Outreach services are provided by an Audiologist, Speech Language Pathologist, and Hearing Resource Teacher for students who have cochlear implants and the teams and families supporting them.

Requests for outreach support for cochlear implant students may be initiated by a parent, a principal, school/district administrator, an implant centre, or by a student if over the age of 18.
