Advocacy Program
Inclusion BC provides free advocacy support to families of children and youth with diverse learning needs, adults with intellectual disabilities and their families who need our help. This could mean connecting you with resources in your community or supporting you to advocate for the services you need.
Inclusion BC's advocates are skilled, experienced and knowledgeable. If you're not sure who you should be talking to, get in touch and we'll connect you with the right person or organization.

Inclusion BC staff are primarily guided by the United Nations Convention on the Rights of People with Disabilities (UNCRPD) which recognizes the full citizenship and human rights of people with intellectual disabilities.

Policy and Systems Advocacy- When we talk to families and individuals we learn about what's working and what's not and what needs to change at a policy and systems level. Check out our campaigns to learn more about how we're trying to make a difference and change systems for the better.

Advocacy Resources- We've collected resources that have proven helpful to families and individuals over the years. If what you're looking for isn't on this page, please get in touch with one of our advocates!
