Child and Youth Mental Health Services
About this resource
Our Counsellor works with children and youth who are experiencing distress which is impairing their functioning at home, at school, with peers, or in the community.
Referrals can be made to the North Island Child & Youth Mental Health Team by the child or youth themselves, as well as others who are directly involved, such as family members and other agencies or service providers. The child/youth or parent/guardian must have knowledge of the referral and agree prior to referral by an agency or service provider.
