Outreach Support
What We Do:
We strive to help people develop meaningful relationships in the community, live independently, and live life on their own terms. We provide individualized support to help people navigate the ups and downs of life and personal relationships, and to assist people with planning their own life path.

How We Do It:
We provide specifically individualized support with daily tasks such as grocery shopping, planning daily activities, running errands, and living in their own homes. We help people to develop skills, identify interests, develop unpaid relationships, live on their own, and accomplish their own personal goals. We provide flexible hours to ensure that people are able to enjoy all that the Kamloops community has to offer them. As well, we match people with compatible support staff to ensure a healthy relationship with them. These support staff are important for helping to foster unpaid relationships with members of the community, may it be through clubs or other community events.

Why We Do It:
We dream of a society where people with disabilities are not segregated from the rest of the population, and instead have individualized lifestyles. We believe that people have the right to live in their own home with the supports they need, such as family, friends, and the community. This dissolves barriers that hinder people from experiencing community living, allowing people to enjoy full Community Inclusion.
