Community Inclusion
Kamloops Society for Community Inclusion supports individuals to be involved in the community and enrich their lives. We do this by exploring people's interests such as education, clubs, volunteering, or other personal interests.
What We Do:
We help people explore new opportunities for living within their community to the greatest extent. We help people to create new unpaid relationships, find volunteering opportunities, develop social and life skills, and to expand their horizons.

How We Do It:
The community inclusion service is done through support staff who help individuals seek out and join community programs, events, and initiatives based on their interests. We connect people in groups or clubs or other opportunities and help to foster relationships. We maintain flexible hours in order to match what the supported individual wants to do in the community. Whether it be attending community events, volunteering, or other inclusion initiatives, we strive to ensure that all people are included in the Kamloops community.

Why We Do It:
We believe that all individuals have the right to a full and meaningful life in all aspects that they choose, we don't believe they should be held back due to having different abilities. Additionally, we believe that people have the right to have full membership in their communities without being segregated.
