Career, Employment and Education Resources

About this resource

The Career, Employment and Education Resources (CEER) division provides a communications area for clients to contact potential employers.
Employment programs include one full year of follow-up services that provide clients with a message centre, resume updates, local faxing service, community job search, and consultations with program instructors.
There is also an Urban Training Program that may offer clients funding for training costs or wage subsidies.

Other services include a number of short-term education and training programs such as basic computer instruction, first aid, and a variety of employment related training opportunities.
