Kidsport BC Grants
About this resource
KidSport BC offers the opportunity for children to participate in the sport of their choice, in their own community. Grants from KidSport BC are provided to help cover the registration fees for a season of organized sport.
If you are a family on low income you can apply to KidSport BC through Fraserside’s Community Services Desk. Fraserside will review your eligibility and forward your completed application to KidSport BC.
Once approved, your grant will be provided directly to the league, club or sport organization.
Eligibility is based on total household income (see chart via the website). To determine eligibility, you will need to provide Fraserside with the following:
Proof of New Westminster residency
-Picture identification
-Current Notice of Assessment for each adult in the household
Applications can be made at Fraserside’s reception desk at 2nd Floor - 519 Seventh Street, New Westminster during the following hours:
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays: 9:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (closed over the lunch hour noon-1 p.m.).
Closed on Statutory Holidays.
