Support Groups
Virtual Community for Tourette is an innovative approach to reach individuals and families living with Tourette Syndrome (TS) in communities where existing support and services may not be readily accessible by leveraging a variety of communication platforms and technology.

By utilizing this technology, we can create opportunities for engagement to inform, educate and inspire in order to improve their quality of life and decrease isolation for people with TS. We would like to acknowledge funding support for this program from Employment and Social Development Canada and Tourette Canada.

Our Virtual In-Service program provides presentations using video-conferencing tools to inform and educate audiences in communities that are out of reach of a Tourette Canada in-service provider.

Virtual Peer Support Groups are small, facilitated peer support groups that meet regularly online using video-conferencing. Groups are limited to no more than eight participants and each group is accessible only to the members of that group.

We currently offer support groups for:
-Moms of Children with Tourette Syndrome
-Adults with Tourette Syndrome
-Youth Hangout (13-18)
