Pre and Post Natal Services
We provide ongoing, inclusive support for pregnant and postpartum women to promote maximum health and wellness for themselves and their babies.

Burnaby Family Life offers free and confidential programs for pregnant women and new moms experiencing challenges or barriers in their lives, and who reside in Burnaby or New Westminster. Staff work to support these women and their families, while promoting health and wellness, in a safe and inclusive environment using a client-centered approach.

Prenatal Program- A weekly support group for pregnant women experiencing emotional, social, financial and health challenges. The group offers a nutritious lunch, one-hour education session or activity, infant weight gain monitoring with the support of a dietitian, public health nurse and outreach worker. Food coupons, vitamins, bus tickets and child care are available.

Post Natal Program - Baby & Me- A weekly support group for mothers experiencing emotional, social, financial and health challenges with infants 0-6 months. The group offers a nutritious lunch and one hour education session or activity, with the support of a dietitian, public health nurse and outreach worker. Food coupons, vitamins, bus tickets and child care are available.
