Children's Summer Camp
About this resource
The children's summer camp runs from July to August each year giving less fortunate children who wouldn't normally have a chance to attend a summer camp the opportunity. The summer camp is offered to children between the ages of 6 - 13. The camp counselors keep children busy with activities such as swimming, canoeing and paddle boating, crafts, games, hikes, and teaching the children about the different plants and animals. The focus of the camp is on fun, making children feel special and creating memories.
There are opportunities for students to work as Camp Counsellors, and we are particularly interested in applicants with a Class 5 Driver's License or Lifeguard Certification. We will be recruiting for Camp Staff starting in April of each year.
Registration for these camps fill up quickly, and will be available starting June 1st of each year.
