Special Olympics BC provides high-quality sports programs and competitions that help people with intellectual disabilities celebrate personal achievement and gain confidence, skills and friendships.
Special Olympics BC – Sunshine Coast has 56 athletes from the beautiful communities of Sechelt and Gibsons. The dedicated 54 volunteers work hard to provide high-quality programs for the athletes in this area; programs offered include swimming, basketball, floor hockey, curling, rhythmic gymnastics, soccer, softball, athletics, golf, and bocce, as well as the Active Start/FUNdamentals youth program for ages two to 11.
