Supported Child Development (Shuswap)
Our Supported Child Development Program facilitates the inclusion of children in community child care settings by providing extra support specific to the child's needs.

The Supported Child Development Program:

-Helps families identify their childcare needs
-Coordinates and consults with interdisciplinary team
-Works with parents, caregivers and team members to develop individual program plans
-Provides child specific orientation and training
-Provides strategies to meet the developmental needs of children within regular daycare programming
-Provides extra staffing to support caregivers when appropriate
-Provides ongoing training and support to caregivers
