Parenting Support
The Parenting Support Program services and resources can strengthen community belonging, promote optimal health and development.

Julia is our Family Navigator and is here to support families in a variety of ways to raise healthy children in our community. She connects families to available local services and can provide guidance on how to reach the right supports both in our center and in the community. Her services and resources can strengthen community belonging, promote optimal health and development. She is also able to connect you to other families with young children. Family Education
Nickie in our Family Education department will support parents of young children in enhancing their parenting skills. She will assist parents in building capacity to address their child's behaviors and developmental needs so that they are better prepared for school. These opportunities will be provided through parental participation in both individual and group parenting education and support programs. All programs are inclusive of families whose children have special needs.

Young Parent Program
Lisa is our Young parent Program Coordinator at the CDC. This program has a wide range of services to fit each individual situation; Parenting, counselling services for personal support, liaising with community resources. The supports and services in this program provides promote healthy children and parents.
