One to One Literacy
Our literacy program offers one to one instruction for students aged three to adult. We make learning fun in a supportive, tailored environment that incorporates individual student interest.
Literacy encompasses the ability to engage with language in various forms to enable communication, meaning making and participation in society. In this program, students engage in activities aimed at enhancing their reading, writing, speaking, listening, comprehension, and fluency skills with the goal of improving overall literacy.
We summarize the primary skills your loved one will accomplish under the following levels: (1) Early Foundations, (2) Success, (3) Launch Pad, and (4) Read On! Because there are many skills that contribute to literacy that may develop at different rates, students may be working on skills in more than one level.
We prepare students to participate more in classroom activities at school and complement school-based learning through assessment, program design, and material preparation for both in-class and take home. Modelling also supports other members of the student’s support team.
One to One Literacy is offered in weekly individual sessions for $75 per session, with an optional assessment report available for an additional fee.
