Providing Resources and Independence to Youth Development (PRIYD)
PRIYD provides one-on-one and group life skills support to children and youth with special needs who live in Burnaby, Richmond, and Vancouver.

We help youth achieve greater independence and healthy development, while also supporting their families by liaising with social workers, behavioral consultants, and other professionals as part of an integrated support team. There is no fee for PRIYD services, as the program is funded by the Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD).

With the goal of cultivating independence, clients work 1-on-1 and in groups with an Integration Support Worker (ISW) toward goals such as:
-using public transit
-increasing confidence and self-esteem
-practicing money skills
-participating in social and community activities
-pursuing post-secondary education, volunteering, or employment
and more
-PRIYD participants build lasting life and social skills – increasing their confidence and empowering them to take on the world.
