Theatre, Arts and Culture
posAbilities is proud of its involvement in local arts and cultural activities. We engage in collaborative projects with other social service providers, community partners and sponsors, to create opportunities for:
-Individuals who wish to express their artistic talent;
-Those who wish to develop performance or production related skills;
-The public to learn about disability issues through a new lens.
Each year, we host theatre productions through our Stage Door Theatre Troupe and also host the annual INCLUSION Art Show for BC artists with diverse abilities. The Alternative Creations Studio recognizes that every person has the ability to create beautiful artwork! We are also developing capacity in digital storytelling, which is another media through which persons served can share their stories.
