Crazy Coyotes (Afterschool) Program
We have two licensed Afterschool Programs with a combined licensed capacity of 34 for children ages six to twelve years old. Our child staff ratio is 1 staff for every 10 children. The centre provides nurturing, stimulating, and challenging environments which focus on each child's needs and development and the needs of the group as a whole.
The children have opportunities to develop their life skills and learn about establishing respectful social relationships. Positive social values will be modeled with an emphasis on ensuring respect for self and others, equal rights and opportunities for group members, and acceptance of differences. The children explore the outdoor playground/gymnasium, as well as go for walks in the community. The program offers children a chance to provide input and feedback and planning of the activities and events.
While schedules are flexible, some activities such as snack times are typically enjoyed as a group. Caregivers will work with families to establish routines that meet the needs of the children, the family and the Centre.
