Supported Child Development Program

About this resource

The Supported Child Development program (SCD) supports children to fully participate in inclusive neighbourhood child care programs.

Child care programs include licensed preschool, group daycare, family child care and school age care. Participation in the program is voluntary and SCD services are free of charge. Parents are responsible for all program fees.

Referrals: Parents may contact the SCD directly or may be referred by community professionals including: Child care providers, Infant Development Consultants, Therapists, Public Health Nurses, Doctors, Social Workers.
