Complex Developmental Behavioural Conditions (CDBC)
The CDBC Program was developed by Northern Health and MCFD to provide multidisciplinary assessments and support services to children with complex behaviours aged 0-19 and their families.
The Complex Developmental Behavioural Conditions Program (CDBC) serves children and youth (from ages birth to 19) who are having significant difficulties in multiple areas of functioning, such as learning and development, mental health and behaviour, adaptive and social functioning. The Key Worker for the CDBC program supports families through the intake, referral, assessment and diagnostic process. The Key Worker also coordinates assessments, links families to services in the community, provides education to parents or caregivers and works to develop parent to parent support groups. Funded by the Ministry of Children and Family Development. Communities served within the Bulkley Valley and the Upper Skeena.
