Employment Support Program
Employment Support programs provide community-based support services to persons with developmental disabilities living in the Central Okanagan interested in becoming employed or requiring supports to maintain employment. Services are available at times and locations that are convenient to the individuals served. The frequency and duration of services varies depending upon the needs of individuals and the stage of services. For example, individuals at the beginning stages of seeking employment may receive more intensive supports.

The specific services offered by the program include:

Employment Preparation
-Exploring your interests toward realistic employment opportunities
-Job readiness and work ethic assessment
-Job club resume, employer interview and marketing
-Assistance with wage subsidy

Paid Employment
-Paid employment choices
-On/off-site job coach assistance
-Continuing support through your employment journey
